Noticias: Trincado por estafar 9.000 euros en Internet a clientes de bancos

Agentes del grupo de Delincuencia Económica y Delitos Tecnológicos de la Policía de Alicante han detenido a un ciudadano ruso, V.K., de 31 años, acusado de estafar unos 9.000 euros al recibir transferencias bancarias por internet no ordenadas por los titulares de las cuentas.
Una empresa inexistente, "Malinari Group International", recibía este dinero y lo remitía después a través de la agencia Western Union a la ciudad rusa de San Petersburgo, en concreto a la cuenta del ahora arrestado.
Según los investigadores, se trata de "una sofisticada metodología ideada para la realización de trasferencias bancarias fraudulentas sin que se produzca la presencia física de las personas que la han diseñado, con lo que intentan lograr su impunidad".
El primer paso de este sistema, conocido como "phising", consiste en averiguar las claves para operar a través de los servicios de banca electrónica de una determinada cuenta.
Para ello envían correos electrónicos que en apariencia proceden de una entidad bancaria y en los que sus remitentes piden a los destinatarios que se conecten con ellos pulsando el citado e-mail.
Si las víctimas acceden a ello, en realidad conectan con una falsa página web del banco, donde los estafadores se apoderan de las claves personales de los titulares de las cuentas.
Paralelamente, la organización criminal, a través de una supuesta empresa de intermediación financiera para operaciones de comercio electrónico, ha contratado mediante páginas web a "agentes comerciales".
El cometido de estos últimos es recibir en sus cuentas bancarias personales las trasferencias electrónicas para, posteriormente y a través de agencias como Western Union, remitirlas a países donde la acción policial internacional encuentra dificultades. EFE
