Noticias: 'El señor de los Anillos' producirá Halo

El cineasta neozelandés Peter Jackson y su esposa Fran Walsh, galardonados con tres premios Oscar por "El señor de los anillos", producirán la adaptación al cine del exitoso videojuego "Halo".
Jackson y Walsh serán productores ejecutivos de "Halo", en la cual trabajarán también sus empresas de efectos especiales instaladas en Nueva Zelanda.
"Halo", de la consola Xbox de Microsoft, vendió más de 13 millones de ejemplares desde 2001. El videojuego coloca al jugador en la piel de un guerrero que lucha contra una horda de invasores extraterrestres.
La película será rodada en Wellington y su estreno está previsto para el verano de 2007.
