La gente que manda correos basura o 'spam' en Alemania se enfrentará con multas de hasta
50.000 euros, según el proyecto de ley presentado por la coalición gobernante formada por los Socialdemócratas y
los Verdes...
"El correo 'spam' es un gran problema. Causa problemas económicos y costes a la gente durante un largo período de tiempo", dijo el viernes Daniel Holstein, un investigador afiliado a los Verdes.
"Esperamos que (las multas) haga a la gente pensárselo dos veces antes de mandar spam", dijo a Reuters. La ley será sometida a votación en el Parlamento durante la segunda semana de marzo.
Alrededor del 80 por ciento de los e-mails enviados en todo el mundo son spam y los investigadores han descubierto que el envío de correos basura puede costar miles de millones de euros. Las empresas tienen que comprar ordenadores con mayor capacidad para hacer frente al flujo de e-mails y los trabajadores pierden tiempo
comprobando todos estos correos, dijo Holstein.
La ley impedirá que los 'spammers' oculten su nombre o el e-mail de procedencia.
